funbox help

i was just wondering (since it will be the first time ill jump off a funbox), when do u actually ollie off the funbox. like do u do it just as the box goes flat?, or a bit earlier. ive never actually done it b4 and im goin to sk8 park tomorrow and wanna know how to do it properly so i dont look like a retard.

I know what you mean by not looking like a retard, cos other skaters might laugh. But look at it this way, they used to be a beginner too. Just ollie and absorb the impact and roll away. Dont get insulted if they do laugh anyway.
