Ok im deciding to get a complete skateboard from blankdecks.com after using my walmart board (it sucks!!!).

Here's what im going to get.

deck canadian blank 7.5 x 31.25
grip jessup
trucks venture size low 5.0 (126 mm)
bearings red
wheels blanks size 50 mm
hardness 98a
hardware 7/8" grind king hardware
risers 1/8" (3 mm) black rubber risers

I need some help on deciding what to get for truck size, wheel size, hardness, hardware and risers. I will skate mostly on the streets. Help me out please!

there's a lot of blankdecks.com being slung around these forums...are they really THAT good?

Yes. Great decks for a great price. Most of the blanks there come from pro companies, like Shorties, Girl, Chocolate, Black Label, etc. I myself am riding the California blank and the Monster Mold blank, which are shaped like a Girl and a Black Label, respectively.

That's a pretty decent setup, newbien. I'd ride it.

If I were you, I would increase the sizes a bit. I have those exact sizes on my complete and now I wish I got them bigger. 7.75 is a good deck size. 53mm is a good wheel size too.

Im going to skate mostly on the streets though. I should size up?

Well, the size is all up to the person. For me, 7.75 is getting a little wide, while 7.5 to 7.62 is fine.

If you have big feet, I suggest you size up. I'm size 10.
