I can spend 175 on a new skateboard. Is 175 enough for a nice board?

Also, does the Fight! Warbird have nice pop? I want a deck with really great pop, and pretty good concave.

you can get a good board for around 120-140.
well it depends if you are going to get it from the internet or a local shop.

yeah, you can.

lets say..

board for 50
trucks for 40
wheels for 30
bearings for 20
hardware/grip for 10 total

thats with everything pro. you could get a shop board or a blank for less, blank wheels for less, cheaper (but still good) bearings, and you usually get free grip or even hardware too with a complete.

not to mention that there are a lot of places that give you a deal when you buy everything.

Yea 175 is definitely enough unless you intend to buy all of the expensive stuff.

Like spenser said.

deck-about 50
trucks-about 40
wheels-about 30
bearings(you should get reds)-15.99 lol
hardware and grip-about 10

thats what you should shoot for at the shop.

UNLESS, you get the stuff off blankdecks.com.

Then, the deck will be about 20, trucks abuot 20, bearings 14, wheels 15, and grip and stuff add up to about 10.

so, a total of 80 bucks for a nice complete. you can buy two completes with that kinda money.

175 is more than enough for a good settup. Go to Blackholeboards.com for a selection of over 20,000 skateboarding products and on top of that, if you use their 'Board builder' system, they take 5% off of the whole shebang (total price).
It is an awesome website, the only thing that sucks is that they don't sell FIGHT! products.

FIGHT! Warbirds have great, longlasting pop, good concave, AND durability, from what I've heard. That is most definitely going to be my next deck, along with Independents 129mm, Bone Swiss bearings, Ricta Natural White's, Pig hardware, Jessup grip tape, AKA, the best of the best. Total? 154.43 :D

On a side note, if this is going to be your first pro board, then don't let the skate shop know that. They will only let you pick out the heavier stuff, because they'll I would HATE to see it crack on you.

My 2 cents on the issue at hand.
