Not bad but I don't really know if that will get you sponsered. Wasn't much switch and there was quite abit of sketch. Some really steezy things but I think you need to clean up your style abit and throw down some more switch/nollie.

That wasn't bad at all. That line was real sketchy, but it could get a small shop. Props to you man. And good luck with it.

yea that was pretty cool, but im not sure if its good enough to get you sponsored.

Like skizzate said, more switch\nollie off sets. The kickflip the double set, feeble on the rail, and smith variations, frontside flip at the end, ollie the doublesets were all good.
Dont just do back boards on handrails, learn some more variation on handrails.
Not sponsorworthy yet though.

You have a good bag of tricks, all you need is some speed, some more switch/nollie stuff and get it a little cleaner and your good.

Take the song off, dont have them in sponsor videos.
I thought it was really good! Your handrail skills are pretty good. But would like to see a bigger variation of flip tricks going down the bigger sets.
Really really good though.
pretty good, take the song off though :)

thats true, but why should someone try to get sponsored if they cant spell it, but its anoying seeing people spell it wrong.
style is better than anything in my opinon. land smooth and make everything look easy.

That was a really good video. I think you got it.
I would, however, take out the sketchy line, and the ollie to manual. It was really bad.
BTW, are your tres pressure?

It was ok
Not good enough for a sponsor though, IMO.
You got your rails and ledges pretty well, now pop your tricks higher and get some more flat tricks.
Also, DON'T tic-tac, it just makes you look super sketchy.
Keep going

Here, I know this guy personally so I can fill you in. All his lines in this video are from late spring. This man can pop his tricks quite high, and he has every basic flip trick, and then some. I'm actually a little suprised in his choice of tricks.

it was pretty good, you got a chance at least. i'd take out that line with the nollie the 4 at the beginning, its just not that hard of a trick and the line was horribly sketchy. also i'd take out the 3 stair tre flip just because its such a small set that its not that impressive. you want to show the tricks that you can do really well, not the ones that you can only sort-of do, it just makes you look better. also i'd take out a few of the handrail boardslides, just take the best one and put that in there, you don't need repetition (i'd keep that 9 stair boardslide if i were you). for the noseslide i'd take the angle from the bottom of the set, it looked less sketchy in that one. other than that you had some pretty good stuff in there, that fs flip was butta'. also where do you live? that skatepark with all the stair sets looked gnarly.

Firstly, get a better filmer, most of your body was cut out for a majority of the video. Secondly, I would suggest filming only spots with a decent runway, it looks very sloppy without a reasonable amount of speed. Work on your nollie flips. And I seem to remember EnjoiFlatland having some tricks on that gap to bank spot.

get ride of the song, and that nollie the 4 line, everything in that was sketchy and slow, but it's a good start, you have some tallent, but sponsors don't want to see ollies down sets, throw some stuff down them.

k i updated it a little, not much, i took out one of the noseslides, put in a fs flip down a 5 and this 180 thing. comment and critique

everything looks good but seriously take out that line with the nollie the 4, it was just horrible and took forever, not impressive at all and just takes away from the video. maybe if you want you can go try to redo it cleaner and faster, but even still, its not really a balanced line. its one stair set at the beginning and then just a bunch of flatground tricks so it doesn't flow together and has nothing special to end the line with. maybe if theres enough room before the set do a few tricks and then end the line with the nollie, try to keep them clean and with decent speed tho.
also you should really take out at least that little wooden rail boardslide and that other tiny boardslide just because you have other boardslides on bigger stuff so it just overtakes those.
those were really the only two things that bothered me with the video. a few of the rail tricks like that fs board could've been cleaner but they weren't too bad.

still didn't take that line out, take out all the ollies, take out the 3 flip down the 3, it was good that you did it, but it's a 3, take out all the little gap to bank stuff. That park looks sick though.

you're definitely a better skater than me, but i know that there are still some problems in this video. The biggest was style. Tic-tacs away from landing a trick are a big no-no. And there should be more runway with the rails, or at least don't have the camera focus on the rail being grinded on. It makes it too predictable. I don't know about you, but i think it would be better if the camera followed you and then the rail popped up on screen. It would be like "oh! a rail! and a grind! nice!".
BIG props on that fs smith shove out, that was pure steez.

looks good. try to redo that line cause it looked sketchy, don't tic-tac so much. get some more switch/nollie tricks. and pull that pole up cause it's too low for a pole jam, or just do a kickflip or something off it. you have a month till they take the tapes so some minor editing, some new clips, take out the song and your good.
thommyhild
06-16-2007, 05:05 AM
that nollie line sucked, i wouldn't use it
try not to have so much skatepark footy in a sponser me video, because most tricks at parks people have seen done by someone else at some point in time before
try to have your stuff filmed better
but the skating was good, more variety would help, but overall a pretty good job
