Neither, But if you had to choose i would say the birdhouse. But ehh its your call. No get a 7.5 or a 7.75.

The first one isn't the best choice ever. The second one just sucks. I think you should get this http://www.blackholeboards.com/Exec/product.asp?userid=99942574190866&item_id=74038 it's a better deal and better quality.

go to your local skate shop and get a cheap complete.

The almost will be fine. Don't worry about how heavy things are. It's only by a few ounces and that won't affect anything. The pig, the foundation and the aws are all better that the almost in every aspect though. If you can get that complete almost cheap, go for it.

Here are a few that would be good.

http://www.blackholeboards.com/Exec/product.asp?userid=99942574183004&item_id=76048

http://www.blackholeboards.com/Exec/product.asp?userid=99942574183004&item_id=76049

http://www.blackholeboards.com/Exec/product.asp?userid=99942574183004&item_id=52726

http://www.blackholeboards.com/Exec/product.asp?userid=99942574183004&item_id=52727

http://www.blackholeboards.com/Exec/product.asp?userid=99942574183004&item_id=73391

Those are all instock and would be much better choices than the almost. but the almost would still be good since your a beginner. Get whatever you want to though its your first board and you should experience what you want and try out different things. going to a local shop would be your best choice though. Good Luck and have fun
