I have a younger brother who wants to start skating, he's about 13, but he's a little on the fat side.

I just want to know if being fat can affect on your skating performance/skill?

Are you sure it's you and not your brother. Why would you post this for your brother. And no, it doesn't affect it.

I'm a little hefty too lol, I wouldn't consider myself really good though.

Yeah, he'll be fine. I know a few bigger kids that still rip.

Ya, I know a kid that goes to my school, and he is kind of fat, but I hear he's really good. I don't know, though, I've never skated with him.

Skating a lot will help lose weight. Remember to drink that water

As long as he can jump it should be fine, and through skating he should lose a heck lot of weight.

he'll lose weight and become normal. But i think for the first year he'll sweat alot more and smell very bad. So make sure you go donw to costco and buy lots of deodrant.

Bottom line, it dnt matter

What type of deck other than a blank should he get?

I'm thinking of a Baker, AWS, or Habitat.
