This is Channell Street in San Pedro. A group of skaters approached the city with plans and a location in mind and the city set up some very wide guidlines and said, Go At It ! This place is a constant work in progress project. Once one new section is finished, everybody bucks up and starts another phase. Currantly a pool is in the works. I shot these pics one morning, sun up, on my way to recon that steel pipe I posted a thread about.

I'm not really into vert but it looks sweet, and their hardwork paid off.

Are they making a street section?

Nah, this crew is a hard core vert crew. Besides, this is LA, there's a thousand square miles of street shit to hit.

anyone else think that doesn't look worth the $10 you're going to pay to skate it.

Nice. Very nice.

Hey skaterat, do you ever skate at the bowl in Glendale? I don't know if there are several, but it was featured on an old Concrete Wave.

I do, just doesn't look that exciting to me. I like some sort of street with my vert.

Very nice.
The reason I brought Glendale up was for two reasons.
One, there was a guy that did 80% of the footage on the episode. He didn't talk and his name wasn't given. All I know is that he had incredibly long dreads (atleast around 02 :P). I know this is kind of a random request, but, If you know him, tell him a kid in Nova Scotia, Canada gives him major Kudos for the speed he skates at. The speed he lines his tricks up at and travels from one side to the other... insane. Very impressed.
Two, also on the episode featured a guy who had a deck with a sticker on it for Boner skates. Is there really a Boner skate company? I hope so, lol.
I must say, you are a lucky bastard for your skills and location. I look up to you dude. My dad's a prison guard, yet he doesn't skate, haha.
Keep shredding.

I think I've seen footy of Daewon Song skating there, or at least somewhere similar to there.

We have a skater built park in my city, but it sucks compared to that. Some locals just took over an abandoned lot. There are a few kickers, some boxes, a pole jam and some flatbars. Yay us.

Check this shot out from yesterday at Glendale, B.S. Tailside over the Deathbox. Scares the shit out of me but such a rush. We had a killer Glendale session yesterday, I'll get some more pics up later.

Sorry, we don't pay to skate anywhere, that is a free park just like all the others (except for 3 out of like 50) here in SoCal.
