they tried to attend the funeral of a cop in NYCity.. he died in Iraq.. killed by a sniper. they were told that it was not a good idea to disrupt and NYPD funeral.

You're just as bad as that family. People like you simply cuss and wish death upon those with different points of view, instead of emphasizing and explaining your arguments in an intelligent manner. If we respond to people like this by being pissed and swearing in response to their actions, we won't accomplish anything.

That being said, the only truly bad person in the family is gramps. Everyone else is simply proffessing their beliefs and their religion. They truly believe what they preach and they give up at nothing to "do everyone a favor", which they really are doing in their own minds, so you can't honestly blame them - they go through alot, and I mean ALOT to 'help' people.

I believe in gay rights and I know that America's fallen heros deserve to be respected instead of attacked by a group of brainwashed fools, but the way everyone is responding to this family and the hatred they feel towards them makes them just as bad. My cousin died in the Iraq war , he was 23 and left behind a loving wife , and a 7-month old baby girl [ ashley ] .
We had the funeral in clearwater , Florida , and i swear to god if they even tried to picket that funeral either 5 ft. away or 500 , i'd go absouletly insane .
Thats just sick .
