It's apparently a film that covers the bottom of your board. It's supposed to protect the graphic and it lubricated to make boardslides easier. Never tried it, though, so I couldn't tell you if it works.

I had a lib tech a long time ago and the bottom of the board was like that i think. It was way more slick for boardslides and the graphic didnt come off.

Slip Tape DRASTICLY Enhances Your Performance

Thats what it said on the site......haha.
I dont think something like this will make you better. You might get some better board slides but other than that.....

i think that is dumb, honestly. if you want a slick bottom board. just get a black label rockbottom or a mini logo.

Haha I don't really care about my graphi getting ragged off. The only thing i would stop if I could is big lines in my deck getting gouged in but i guess that's all just part of skating.

Back in the very late 80s, some companies made slick bottom decks. Some others made a material you could apply to the bottom of you deck to make it slick. You would peel of the backing, and stick it to the underside of your board, and trim it down with a blade knife. It was kind of a foggy white-clear, so you could still see the board graphics. Perhaps technology has changed (I sure hope so), but IMO, all that slick bottom stuff was 159% CRAP. It bubbled up, peeled off, and was a waste of time and energy. Leave your board in the car with warm weather, it would bubble, for example.

To each their own, though.
