I allways seem to get hurt more snowboarding then with skating cuz if your skating and u know your gonna bail then you can atleast try to aviod it,but with snowboaridng you bail you fall and it hurts cuz its not like if you fall you can just take your feet out of the bindings unless u have one of those cheap boards but still, well heres an example i was snowboarding at my friends house today my board is hella fast and when i went to hit the ramp that they have built, whichis about 3 3 1/2 feet tall,i got major air which was cool at the time but when i was in the air i'm like oo this isn't good i'm gonna fall and its gonna hurt, well i fell, hard,on my hip,and it hurt i could hardly move for a while but i'm like one of those people if i get hurt i'm just gonna laugh it off and i got home took off all my stuff ate and got on here, well i got up to go into the kitchen and now i can hardly walk without limping cuz it hurts so bad,and cuz the other day when i was out i landed on my knee which hurts really bad too,,,

It Cant Hurt As Much Because You Land On Snow Instead Of Concrete

^ not always because if the snow is packed it hurts just as bad as concrete, and snownboards are faster than skateboards,

i am still waiting for it to freakin snow here, there is supposed to be a storm flowing in this way all week so ill get my skateing in for the week today and hopefully get to tear it up on the hill tomorow. i have bought so much snowboard stuff it will be like an early christmas gettign to use all my new gear out on the hill. as for bailing in the snow, oh yeah it hurts.. i got really big air last year and pussed out while i was still comming down and landed in some 4 inch deep snow with gravel in the bottom and i had my shirt off because it was so nice and warm out, man did that hurt. (rite on my back)
also i have landed on my head a couple times and that hurt pretty badly too.

so far i have bought all this stuff
burton board bag
osiris d3 boots
spy scoop goggles
alphanumeric visor beanie
ans a jacket called triple point cremaic but lowe alpine (high quaility waterproof hiking jacket)
foursquare sweatshirt.
i cant wait to use it...............
and i made some board hangers in welding and ill probably try to make a shovel this week.

Tell you one thing you fall on your arm going down a hill at 20mph on a skateboard.. then you fall on a snower going 50mph... which ones gonna rip your arm to shreads?

Not if you snowboard in a t-shirt. I've been there and done that, but after i wrapped myself on a 30 foot kinked rail and slid half of it on my stomach, I threw my jacket back on.

Yeah....well falling while snowboarding doesnt hurt as much when you fall, but since you fall from a VERY fast speed and from VERY high, when you wake up the next morning, all your muscles are sore and everything, even if you strech up before...that's the only problem in snowboarding.....that and skiers.

you should spend a good 5 minutes stretching before you head out to the snow. but if you forget dont even try to stretch cold muscles because you could get cramps and possibly pull or tear a muscle and that really sucks because your day is ruined.

snowboarding hurts more. you're going faster, and when snow gets in your boots and shit, i hate that.

(Ramprage) I only wear a t-shirt when I'm boarding in late feb. onwards and its sunny out. If not, its a shirt, hoodie, and my snowboard jacket.

You can still get cut through your clothes though. I've had that happen to. Once again, it was on a rail. It really stings and like scrapes off the skin.

i think snowboarding hurts more like last night i was goin and theres was this icy( probably 15-20 feet) roll-in to a ramp and u have to make a really tight toeside turn and i was doin it and some skier cut me off and i caught an edge and got flung off the whole thing and landed straight on my back near faltbottom right on ice.

and also last night i was frontside boardsliding a rail (goinbg backwards) and i got hung up cuz my edges were so sharp and i turned when i fell and smacked my face on it and twisted up my legs and pulled my quad.

Argh last time there was that little skier that cut me on my way down, so I went left so I didnt hurt him, but there was ice on the side of the slope, and my nose got stuck in the ice, so I did a flatland 3/4 frontflip and landed on my back. It didnt hurt there, but the next morning..ouuuchhh

well skateing would scratch your arm pretty bad but snowboarding that fast would probably rip your arm our of the socket
