for the real answer look into The Waldos, and San Rafael High School in the 70s. i think 1970 or 71.
they coined the term. you would have to be 40-50 (me) to remember the terms.

i was 3 or 4-ish when that started, but grew up in the shade of many heavy smokers.

i didnt smoke any today. BUt i had some on wed when i went to trivium with my friend. He skinned up on the bus, and within 5 mins of us bein in cambridge (a place that we' dont know or have been too) we were charged. I lost it as soon as we got into the gig but he got tripped out by all the lights. Cause the gig finished at 11 and i told my dad to pick us up at 12, we had another spliff afterwards. I got corey (the lead guitarist) to sign my ticket i was slightly lean.

I agree. I didn't smoke at all today. My buddy at work, Tyler, did though. This is how it went most of the day:

Fact: Marijuana itself, and THC, are relatively harmless to the human body.

Fact: Any sort of heated air entering your lungs is not harmless. Thus, the pot in itself doesn't do it, the burning of it does.

I choose not to put drugs into my body. No one can tell me that I'm missing out, because I know what it's like. I've done most every drug, from cocaine to acid. I was a long time pot smoker and narcotic addict. Shrooms and E flowed regularly for a year or so. But now, I'm over all that, and like to think that I learned a thing or two from it; both about drugs and life in general.

Some drugs I think it's good to try at least once, like pot and, yes, mushrooms. Taken in moderation and if you are a legal adult, of course. (I don't any lawsuits saying I encouraged underage drug use, haha). Some I advise to avoid entirely, like cocaine and, despite my past abuse, ecstasy. However, I must say that the general view of pot has shifted more to the positive; look at things like Reefer Madness and just try to tell me it hasn't.

Everyone's gotta experiment at one point in there life. I've only ever smoked pot, done Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and E, but i do it moderation. In fact, i only ever did E once, never again. I ended up with a lot of hair missing because of it.
I smoke pot when i want. If someone offers me some, i'm not afraid to say 'no' and look like a 'pussy'. I sometimes go weeks without smoking some but for example last week i bought a £50 bag, just for a little fun.
DMT (mixed with Amyl nitrite), thats pretty crazy stuff, don't do it more than twice a month. In my opinion there just like a theme park ride. Haha what an analogy.

But anywho, i believe that alcohol is far more dangerous to your health than pot. Anyone who drinks can see that.

I don't smoke pot much more, not because of the things it does to your body, just because it's kinda old after a while. It's good for a bit, but you know, your just get bored of the same old feeling and staying sober isn't bad. And Snaker is right, weed isn't very harmful to your body, and you can get the effects of it in several different ways besides smoking it, from vaporizing it to making tea.
I still do it once in a while, if I'm just in the mood or bored.

Personally I've been smoking weed about 3 years now on and off. I'd do it daily for a long time, then just give it a break when I feel like it. My 420 was AMAZING... best I could ask for. A perfect combination of high and skating.

It started with exactly on 420 me downing a bottle of cough syrup (Go ahead and make fun of me for doing that shit, unlike weed there are probably ****ed up side effects from it but thats besides the point). Then we smoked a bunch of bowls, lost count after a while. It was fun filming all of this shit. Then we went and did shots and quickly drove to a nearby skatespot at a school where I wouldnt have to drive again. And we just bombed insane hills over and over all day untill it got dark. All I remember was tripping while I'm high and loving skating.

Go find a report saying someone died from smoking marijuana not cigarettes. It was actually just proven that THC helps slow lung cancer. It helps your heart, too. And you CAN'T become addicted. I myself used to be way into pot, grew out of it, still do it here and there but I have learned that as times passes and I focus more on important things and not partying I want to spend less and less time being ****ed out of my mind.

Yes I celebrate 420 sometimes, I just toke thats it nothing more no need to take it to the extreme. Pot is just like alcohol it has to be done in moderation and its chronic use is nothing compared to alcohol's chronic use. I don't party anymore because I hate alcohol pot>alcohol.
I always go away from my point, blah. MY point I think is whether you expiriment with pot, coke, meth, alcohol, you are still using a drug. Whether its a pain killer, sleeping pill, anti-biotic, coffee its still a drug. They all just do different things and society happens to accept some. 3-5 university courses about this topic has taught me that much and more.

Well, marijuana is less harmful than tobacco or alcohol, less addictive too. It does lead to increase risks of psychotic episodes and schitzophrenia though. Who knows.
