you really should start researching it as soon as you can because its not as easy as it seems to put out a full length video, its better to begin learning now rather than make mistakes when it counts...

I would start practicing effects and titles in premiere. It can be really hard to master. Just a suggestion. The video looks alright. Try and not make too many inside jokes. Otherwise its hard to understand whats going on.
