I haven't tried one, but have been scoping SC decks out at the shops in my area. I've been looking at the Veteran's line-up, and they have a decent concave and great shape (in terms of "classic" or "old school" shapes). I do prefer a deeper concave, though it seems it's the same or about the same as the Black Label Emergency series deck I'm currently skating.

Back in the day SC decks were the big deal in my area, and consequently, I have a bit of brand loyalty, even though it's carried over from moons ago. At Ripon's park tomorrow, a bud is bringing his Veteran's SC deck (Keith Meek model), and I'm gonna try it and see how it feels under my feet.

I'm curious to check some Pocket Pistols or Scum Skates decks, but for my local sources, they are hard to come by. This is bad for me, as I am totally down for supporting my local skateshops as I'm buddies with the owners of all of 'em.
