This is a stupid topic, but does anyone know any good recipes for protein shakes? I usually just put what it says on the back in, but it taste like asshole.

Yeah , dont listen to what its says on the back on the bottled protein shake , but for the recipe i reccomend just regular fruits like Bannana's and Strawberries .

Just dont take in too much protein. Depending on how active you are, your body can only use a small amount and the rest is turned into fat.

1 cup milk (I use soy milk)
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 serving vegetable protein powder (follow package measurements)
1/2 to 3/4 cup frozen berries (whatever you like)
10 drops Stevia sweetener
Grind flax seeds in a coffee grinder. Then add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
I know this shit. I don't eat meat; therfore, I need all the protein I can get.

High calories, low carbs. Don't eat energy foods, eat fatty foods. I wouldn't worry about weight though, it will come if your body needs it. You would be better off working out, then supplementing lots of protein in your diet. Eventually you will be big because your muscles need, well to be simple, food, so your body will have to store larger amounts of it for your muscles to consume.

Greasy foods, McyD's, hot pockets, and alot of chocolate
water over protein shakes.

Thats the thing though. I eat fastfood,cake,chocolate, just all around fatty foods and I cant gain a pound. Like I said I just lose weight.

In that case, if you want to gain weight to look bigger and nothing is doing anything, work out, thats all I can think of. You'd do better with muscle than with fat.

Thats the same with me. im like 6'3" and like 140 pounds. im pretty skinny and i think i look really awkward and want to gain a little bit of weight to look more normal but i could really care less because im not getting a girlfriend or anything cuz im homeschooled so i figure i will get more normal sized when i get older.

Buy Whey Protein drinks, they taste descently and have a good amount of protein in them. Try hitting the gym, that'll help your muscles grow throughout your body giving you a bigger fill. Eats lots of bread too since you need lots of carbs to get bigger.

and your 5,5 and only 105 steve?? man im 6'0 and im only like 155 or sumthin around ther, but Im not gangly or nothing like that, and im not huge (tank) so im not botherd by it at all

I'm 5'7 and 100lbs. I went through a phase where I really tried to gain weight, but I never could. I eat alot of junk and chocolate and all that crap. Not too much meat or milk though and then on top of that I'm actice for hours per day, so I don't know what it is.

damn dude you must be pretty skinny. i'm like 5' 10" and i weigh 140 and i still look pretty skinny. i do drink a lot of milk though. actually, i'm drinking milk right now. i also have a got milk bumper sticker going across the nose of my deck, but the edges that would stick off i cut off with a box cutter. pretty steezy huh.

Jeez, I'm tryin to slim down but I keep gaining weight. September I was 130, now I'm 145. I started running and lost my belly but I gained weight. It might be in muscle but I dont know.

How hard is it? My friend's vegan and told me it was really really hard for like the first few months.
Also you must be super good at skating since like half of really good pros are vegan

use however much protien you use
2 cups of milk
2-3 scoops of w/e ice cream you like
throw in a couple spoons of peanut butter
add any additional fruits that youd like
blend
if you feel like a fat kid top that bad boy with some whip cream and enjoy

Well, I lived vegetarian for like two years before I went vegan, so it wasn't that hard for me. Only thing is that sometimes, I start to lose weight because I don't have enough money to buy foods with enough protein. That's why I happened to have a recipe for a protein shake.
As for being a good skater, dunno about that, haha. I'm not nearly as good as I should be for eight years of skating. I've been skating less because I work a lot now.

fuucking idiot. muscle weighs thrice fat. so you poison your body with all that s*it to gain weight? not smart. My Satanist Diet is unrefined whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables, Kangaroo meat and chicken. no junk food. if you wanna gain muscle to make yourself more sexy, hit the gym 3 times a week. 7 times a week makes you smaller. and eat peanuts n eggs.... highest fat n protein content of any food respectively.

Vegetarian is not eating any meat. Vegan is no animal products at all: no milk, eggs, cheese, honey, or anything else that comes from an animal.

vegans use tofu and milk for protein. the human body was designed to be exercised excesively, and few an unbelieveably large variety of different foods.... people think they can manipulate it and be vegans n stuff, I dont really care; its not for me, but I dont care if people do it I guess.
so How many vegans does it take to change a lightbulb?
Two, one to change it and one to check for animal ingredients.

as most people've said youre best option is to eat healthy, and workout alot to build muscle, ive been doing this since 6th grade, i was like 5,1 and 140 pounts(very fat), and now im in 9th grade still doing this, and im 5,9ish and 140 pounds, i dont see myself as skinny but people say I am, but I have a good amount of muscle to balance it out, so I dont look scrawny.
