Well i just got my optura 10 and kenko fisheye today. I really like the cam and fisheye. Here are a couple of pics with the cam.

With kenko fisheye: http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s301/luckysk8er1991/Withfisheye.jpg

And without the fisheye: http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s301/luckysk8er1991/Withoutfisheye.jpg

Both pictures were taken with the camera held in the same place. I should have some footy with that cam up pretty soon.

P.S. Yes that is ma ride, dont be jealous

Just goes to show how much of a difference a fisheye makes. What magnification is it?

If youre filming on tapes you can flip the inside lens over and it makes the fisheye wider. have fun with it...

What? can you explain that a little more?

Yea ill explain it. I do it and you can check out my footy in the montage section, "weekend fun montage". Anyways, you unscrew the top metal ring with the words on it. Then you carefully take out the top piece of glass, and take out the little small piece you see after that, flip it, then put the top piece back the way it was and screw the ring back on, it gives it a little more distortion and more vig. All you have to do is zoom in a TINY BIT so that on the lcd you can barely see the vig. Then on the comp it will show up not to much but wider. Like i said go check out my montage i posted a few days ago and youll see if you like it or not.

Hope i helped

MAke sure on lines you get low and point up to get the whole body in the picture. Not just feet or a high shot of the fisheye. I know your probably obessed with how cool the fisheye is right now and only want to film with it and not longlens.(I was too at first.) But when the shot looks good long lens, do it. Its better to have a variety in your shots.

Yea. Do you know what whitebalance is?
If not find it in the menu and either bring like a white card or somthing with you when you film and white balance off of that or find something white around where your filming. And mess around with the exposure and shutter to get a good picture.

Don't just white balance off of white, try other colors to give the footage some nice tints.

I personally like to WB off of blue, turns out really nice.

and always keep the camera to sports mode (higher shutter speed) when filming skateboarding.. youll have less of a blur in your vids

Just adjust the shutter speed manually. ITs better, then you can decide what looks best.
