Quick question about fisheyes

Probably stupid questions but I'm considering getting a cheap 0.3x raynox fisheye from eBay.

Which magnification will add more of a 'bend'; 0.3x or 0.43x?

My camera lens is 34mm, which would add more 'bend'; a big lens fisheye with step up/down ring or a small lens fisheye step up/down ring? Or would one add a black circle around the edge?

Just get the Kenko .43x. And the word your looking for instead of "bend" is "distortion".
