As a progressing Guitarist, I have learned to appreciate ALL styles and genres of music. I love ANY type of music, simply because of the guitar, and musical touch. Anything from death metal, to country music (yes, I said country music). For example, Garth Brooks, Wrapped up in you - I downloaded that...to listen..to the GUITAR! I also listen to...every possible band. I don't have any bands where I like all their songs....except a few. Here is a long list.

There's tons more. While most people are at school..I'm either playing guitar, or listening to new music.

One thing that is great...usually most people are closed minded with music. They say "I listen to blink, sum 41, ___, _____, ____-" etc...then if you say 'Less Than jake is good'...they say 'nah'. I was like that before. Now I type a band name at random, download it...Its great!!

i basically listen to most of the bands mrock and snowboarder said, what i like for skate music is either ska,punk(good punk not pop punk) or P.O.D. or Linkin Park(very good stuff to let your anger flow and skate to) my favorite bands to listen to tryin to figure out drum stuff would be:
P.O.D.- wuv kicks ass
Linkin Park- Rob is mucho talented and his rythims are pretty hard to figure out
Blink 182- dont really like the band but travis is excellent
system of a down- i cant really play anyting by that drummer cuz he's too damn good and i suck
and assorted other punk/ska/rock bands out there but i like most other people here are too damn lazy to name them
