Not bad. But the music made me feel like I was starting to play a Japenese RPG.

I liked the way the colour came in once that guy landed the nollie off the ledge. I liked the song, it was slow and fitted with the long runs and general style of the video. I also liked the way you showed the bail of the BS180 at the start and the land at the end.

i have to say, that is a really good job for your first try with vegas. the way the color faded in and the song fitted great. nice job.
I liked it, loved the song.

Well, you know that the songs been used http://youtube.com/watch?v=1yPIXAD9ndM with the same idea, that you stole because i know you saw this. That being said, you didn't do too bad of a job. The only problems were that the colour didn't come in right on the beat as it should have, and i think you could've edited the clips to make landings go with the beat a bit more, but other than that, good job. Good skating as well.

Yea, he showed me his video. I tried to mimic(sp) it because i liked the edit so much. And yea i could have made it hit the beats but im very new to vegas and its hard to get used to. For me anyways.

the skating and song was nice but, those guy's nollie flips rolled on the ground instead of being popped in the air.

wow, 46mb video dude, you need a compressor, and welcome to the world of editing, cuz sony vegas is a tiny notch above WMM, i thought it was pretty good though.

once you learned the basics with vegas, it won't be as confusing as it seems right now. i liked it btw.

I'm pretty sure Vegas is a bit better than "a tiny notch above WMM". It's arguably better than premiere. It's basically personal preference, but you can't say that it's a tiny notch above WMM, because you haven't used it. The ease of use is one thing that's a lot better than premiere, as well as the amazing colour correction capabilities.

That video was edited in Vegas, you can't say that that's "a tiny notch above WMM"'s capabilities.

well buddy, I have used it, I've used it for a good year or so, the capabilities has nothing to do with "tiny notch" it's all about next step, it goes from WMM to vegas, bottom line, i don't think that vegas produces anything better then WMM can.

wow, then you really didn't use vegas as well as you should have/ could of. if you're saying the amount of legit effects and tools, aswell as more advanced things like chroma keying and key framing are a step above WMM, you really got some shit to learn. here's an example, 2 montages, almost exactly the same, but one has a little "touch" from vegas:
WMM: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dCWrM8kTqFw
Vegas: http://youtube.com/watch?v=1yPIXAD9ndM
Yeah, there really is no difference. I mean, in WMM you really can use more than one video/audio layer, and manually set levels and different hues on darks, lights and mids. I you still think Vegas is one step above WMM, tell me, and i'll help proove you wrong. Soemthign like Pinnacle would be one step above WMM.

ok i currently use imovie but i can never save it to a good enough quality file that is compatible with youtube and i have final cut but it keeps saying shit and i want to use sony vegas but i have a mac and im not sure if vegas works on macs if so were could i download the sony vegas mac version?
thanks dudes.

@ sizlesteve: Render as .avi. Then open the file in Squared5 (download it if you hvaent already), and play around with settings, to get a nice quality, small file.
@ Dspizzle: There is no Vegas for Mac. Only Imovie, Final Cut Pro, and the cheap version of Final Cut. When you edit in Imovie, save it as a full quality file, then download Squared5 (google it, there is a mac version), and like said above, play around with shit to get a good quality small file video.
