Has anyone been there or skated it? Well, they're still protesting over Philly closing it. Even the designers, one of which went there and got on a skateboard (the man is 70 years old). What are your comments on LOVE? R.I.P. LOVE

As Bret pointed out to me, LOVE has been closed for months, but hey, we still need something in the skateboarding world to gossip about, lol.

If they do rebuild they'll probably give anyone who skates there a felony or something. Thats how much they hate skating. kinda pathetic

I read somewhere that they are gonna build a skatepark exactly like LOVE Park in Philly.

THey got some good pics and info on there

It'd be sweet if they went through witht that replica project, but like the article says, why make a replica when they can just let skaters skate the one thats there now!

i think they should make an outdoor skatepark that is a replica of all of love. Right down to the fountain 4, and all the stairs around it. I think it'd be the best. Cops couldn't kid ya out.

They are re-building LOVE, but all the concrete area is being removed and replaced with grass. WoodWard is building a replica of LOVE at one of their locations in the US.

FDR and LOVE are 2 different places

The LOVE Park is one of the best places to skate: plenty of ledges, different size steps, gaps etc. in one located area, and many skaters (professionals) have skated there for a long time now and I think it's gay that they are shuting it down (if they do it's not going to make things n e fluckin better the thick twats, people who skate there will be forced to skate in other places and shit and peeps won't like that so why they close it down I don't know,

nope. The "love" park in philly is called FDR park. thats its real name. it just gets called LOVE park because of the big LOVE statue.

Yup. And the court house is connected to LOVE. The courthouse has the banches, and LOVE has the ledges, thats how you tell the difference.

The fountain gap is terribly hard. I'm almost positive that I couldn't do nothing there. But with all the nicely waxed curbs and ledges there I'm sure I could have a fun time. The fountain gap is HUGE! I've heard that christ cole fs flipped it. Even if they do rebuild the LOVE park into a skatepark it'll never be the same.
