Well yesterday I was just skating down some hills near my house when all of the sudden my left front wheel flys off. Which wouldn't surprise me because the bolts are pretty far from touching the inside of the wheel. And after skidding on my front truck for a second I hit the ground going about 4-7 mph slide all along my right side on the road.

My Right Leg. That oughtta learn ya to not wear shorts while skating. Yeah the black stuff is tire remnants from the road..

My Right Arm. I was really surprised I didn't skid that pretty good. Just my elbow on that arm and it wasn't bad at all.

I didn't skid on my face or even hurt my face for that matter. But I was puzzled when I saw my wheel rolling down the hill while I'm diving off in front of my board.

Anyway, sucks about your injuries, I'm yet to fall while bombing a hill myself so I don't know the pain you're feeling now but I've had my share of injuries myself so............ya. Hope your scrapes heal up and don't leave permanent scars.

ouch. i skitched a bus once. got up to about 40mph when i let go, craziest speed wobbles evaahhhh. i fell but surprisingly got very few scrapes. they were all small but they hurt horribly though. to this day i have never skitched anything else, though i should try again to lose my fear.

I bomb a hill or two everyonce in a while. The first time I tried, I got speed wobbles from hell. Then instead of trying to stay with it by regaining balance, I decided to try jump. Not my brightest idea, my ankle smacked pavement I fliped over once or twice, and slid down the rest of the hill. I manged to get out with a gash on my ankle, and this sick ass cut on my chin, I had to get stitches and now there's a scar. Barely visible, atleast.

Yeah that happened to me on the same run except when I jumped off I just pulled my hamstring and nearly flipped like you did.

Ouch that sucks. Yo honestly, that abrasion on your hip, I used to get those repeatedly on my knees from rollerblading while I was younger. If you want that to heal amazingly fast, forget Hydrogen Peroxide. Clean it out with soap and water, dry the wound, then use rubbing alcohol. I do this every time I get a bad abrasion. It stings like a bitch, but by that same night or next morning, I already have a thin layer of skin and no longer need to cover it.

Yeah it's basically all healed as of now doesn't restrict my movements at all anymore. The scab is off mostly except for little specks. But yeah. I've learned my lesson.
