I got a new deck about 1 1/2 months ago, its a 7.5, and I just realized I really dont like the size, its too small for me, and its harder for me to land certain flip tricks. Before I got the 7.5 I had a 7.75. My question is even though there really is nothing wrong with this deck, do you think I should get the size im used to skating? And does anyone know cheap places online to get decks?Because my skateshop sucks...

Just skate it out and see if you adjust. Who knows, you might wind up liking it better than the 7.75's.

I'm in the same position as you are right now. You'll get used to it after a while, but there are some things that you can't just adjust to, it'll always be too small for you, even if you're used to it.

It all depends on you, since it's your decision.

I say you should get a size ur used to. I started skating with a 7.5. I skated it for a year and couldn't do anything. But then I got a 7.75 and I was 10 times better. I still can't do anything on my 7.5. It's much easier to progress with a board that's comfortable for you

I think you can get used to it.

The deck I had before the one I had now was pretty flat, and so it was a bit different to skate a steep deck, but I've gotten used to it, and in fact, I enjoy it a lot more. Flips so much easier.

I lol at this. I just did a tre flip in an 8.25 deck and was skating and 8.0 a few days ago. You'll get used to it.

When I started out n didn't know shit I wanted a duke ass board, ya know
(8.5 x a mile). Once I realized that it sucked and got skilled in skating I realized a smaller board is more responsive, spins and flips a hell of a lot faster and is just better all around so now I ride a (7.5 x 31.25). That is my idea of ideal.

I started on a few 7.75's, but now I like 7.5's. dunno why, but they seem better for me. I say just get used to it, or give it to some dude that wants it. 7.5's dont last as long as 7.75's :'-(

I skate 7.75s and the shop sent me a 7.5 isntead when I last ordered from them. I couldn't be bothered to send it back because I just wanted to skate, but I'm getting used to it.

just try to skate it. you'll get used to it after a while.

i used to ride 7.5 boards and just jumped to 8.0 and i must say i liked the 8.0 and is better to skate and easier for manny's.

but its all you.
try to experiment, or something.

Foot size and weight definatly change what a person's PERFECT DECK SIZE is. For example i'm 165 pounds. I ride a <7.5x31.62> AKA my perfect deck.
