yer still startin out, I like to support the local shops although there's another shop called outer limitz which has all baker and stuff and if you don't like the board after 2 weeks you can take it back and get a new one free of charge and they only sell american made decks and all, cept they are about $120.
Also what do you think about the
Geoff Rowley Flip deck,
It's like red and black and stuff. Thats on sale for $100 reduced from $140.

If your a beginner, get a blank.
If your avid about gettin a graphic deck, i wouldn't get the Blind or Darkstar, they're awful.

I'd like to get a pro deck because it would probably last me longer right ?.
There is massive sales on Girl, Chocolate, Flip and Cliche.
So what board would be the best to go with.
Also for the auzzies on here they have folklores going for 80 so add that to the sale list above.
thanks in advance

just because its a blank doesnt mean it wont last as long.
blank doesnt mean lower quality. it simply means theres no graphic, and thats the only difference.
and just like graphic boards, some of them are worse, and some of them are better. its harder to know with blanks, because its harder to know where they come from and/or who makes them.

Go with a blank and put your own stickers on the bottom if graphics really mean that much to you.

No I was just thinking if it's a 'pro' deck it might be made better and with higher quality parts.

Pro decks are built better sometimes, but for the most part, blankdecks.com makes better blanks than most companies. I'd skate one of their blanks over an Element, Darkstar, or Blind any day.
Girl, Chocolate, and Flip are all decent. I don't know about Cliche.

I'd definitely get a Girl or a Chocolate deck.

Those are basically just graphics, the deck sizes would be the only thing that would cause a real difference. Girl and Chocolate have good concave, pop, tail/nose shapes, and they aren't very brittle. Or they dont break super easily.
If you're going to choose out of those three just choose the one you think looks the coolest. You cant go wrong with any of them.

what dont you guys get about this?
pro decks arent "built better." they are skateboards. blanks are skateboards too.
the ONLY DIFFERENCE is that one has a graphic and the other doesnt. blank is NOT about quality, its about the lack of a graphic, which results in a lower retail price.
its not that hard to understand.

There is low range and high range products it's not that hard to understand.
I'm comming from a BMX background where a riders signature model is generally the best bike the company has out. I thought skateboards may be the same. Local board shops oviously don't make as much money as habitat for example which means habitat have the potential to make better boards, they have the potential to use better woods and such, so in general their boards should be better than the local shops who may spend say ..... $12 where as habitat may spend $15 now there's a fair chance these boards will be made in china or something then shipped to the US so over there an extra $3 may increse the work ethic of the people who make the boards*because of their payrise* meaning they will put more effort and time into them and you will end up with a better board overall.

sure, but just because they have a lot more money doesnt mean theyre better boards.
like dwindle. theyre crappy boards, and theyre cheap, yet they are one of the biggest companies in skateboarding (world industries, almost, blind, dark star, speed demons, enjoi, tensor.......)
and since you mentioned habitat.. they make great quality boards. for example, a dwindle board is about 19$ wholesale (the price the shop pays for it), whereas habitats are about $35 wholesale. theyre more expensive because of the better quality, and probably partly the cost of the people/place they make them (since certain places are cheaper, like a sweatshop as opposed to a legit factory).
