all indys are stage 9s now.. they have been for a while. its just the slightly updated design. stage 8s havent been made for a few years at least.

so.. theres no difference between the lows and stage 9s, because lows are stage 9s.

i have indy lows, and theyre the best low trucks ive ever ridden.

well, yeah, if it just says "stage 9" then theyre mids, cause indys are mids as a standard.

mid is higher than low. not by much, maybe a cm at most.

other than that, theres really not much of a difference as far as how theyre built. it just feels a little different (barely) because youre a tad higher off the ground.

the Lows are 'shorter' than the Stage 9's, thats the only difference. And According to Independent, the Lows are 10% lighter too..
Pro's n cons; Lows are lighter, flip faster while Stage 9's Ollie higher, turn better, better for Ramps

just cause theyre higher doesnt mean they ollie higher.

you can. more room to snap.. the day I used fury Hi's, I realised that..

but then again, you could argue that because theres less distance between the ground and tail with lows, the snap is quicker, so you pop better.

heigh of trucks doesnt make your ollies any lower or higher.

so if I use a Deck with nothin underneath, it'll ollie higher than a Low truck? nah man.. My first Deck was the lowest Oldskol u ever saw. and my Low Thunders ollied better. I see no other reason street Pro's like McCrank would use Hi's. they dont flip faster.

Depends on what you're comfortable with.

my point was that you could argue it either way, so it comes down to personal preference. high doesnt mean better, low doesnt mean better, its all up to the rider.
