This topic is where I realize that I've been wearing Emerica shoes for seven years

I remember back in the day, my first Emerica shoe, the Templeton 2. That was a good pair, back when rubber toe caps were still cool. Apparently, I've been hooked on them since, as I haven't worn shoes from another company since then. So seven years and maybe twelve or thirteen pairs later, I have to say Emerica makes a good fitting shoe and some damn good advertisements

Shame they'll never bring back the true Reynolds 1s, but I still have my old beat up pair of the limited red ones.

Emerica is tight/sick/good product, but I am an Es/Lakai sorta guy, even though I loved my KSL's =) I would mos.def buy Emerica again

emerica was my favorite for a long time. ive probably had about 20 pairs, and most of those were in a row. i got into them a long time ago, back when the MJ1 came out. yeah, thats right, most of you didnt even know marc johnson was ever on emerica.

i still have my reynolds 1s, MJ1s, and MJ2s. those arent made anymore.. i had them all about 5 or 6 years ago. i also have both pairs of my reynolds 2s. and for shoes that still fit me, i still have all of my francises, my most recent reynolds 3s, the leos, and the ridgemonts.

I had 3 pairs of Heretics back in the old rubber toe cap days. Then some that looked quite similar to Rey 3's after them.

Since then i've just been an accel fanboi!

the ones that looked like reynolds 3s were bevels. had to be.. thats the only shoe that would fit the description.

i almost got myself a pair of the bevels about 5 or 6 years ago.

i've only had one pair of Emericas to date but ive only been skating for 1 year and 9 months and ive gone through.....5 pairs of shoes and im now onto my Ipath Grasshoppers

the emericas i had were Tilt 2's and they were amazing =D

I stopped buying Emerica after the trans ems because they all suck now, Lakai is where it's at, they have yet to make a bad shoe.

Emerica is the shit I completely love their shoes, The only thing I really don't like is how little the soles last. Other than that they are the shit I've only had about five pairs.

Lakai & Circas are good for me. I'll buy emericas once their sole design has changed a bit.

i used to be an es guy but i'm leaning toward emerica as of late. i'm skating some corduruoy ridgemonts right now and they're quite functional and stylish.

before these i demolished some reynolds threes but they skated really well while they lasted. before those, all i'd owned were es accels and a few accel plusses.

uh I never said anyone did either... Just pointing out the fact that people here seem to get more than two or three pairs of shoes in a year, which for me is unheard of. I've never been able to justify that kind of purchase, and I hate breaking in new shoes.
I dunno about playing the field with shoes either, Emerica's been real good to me, always a good model out when I need some new kicks. Of course there's probably going to be a day when Emerica ceases to be amazing for me, but it's not going to be for a while I predict.

and for the thread: i have had 1 pair of emericas... the heretic 2s. they didnt last for s**t. my friend told me that those are like the worst emericas but they still kinda ruined it for me.

Rey 3's. skated great. grip was nice, durability was good for a vulc shoe. etc.

rey 2's, i've had them for like, a year, and i just started skating them like 2 weeks ago, and i think they don't skate good, at all.

kirchart 4's. bulkyass shoes, durability was good, and that's about all they had going for them.



to be honest, i only bought those shoes because of the looks, and i think emerica makes some of the BEST looking shoes.

for example, an incredibly skinny-vulc-shoe that has no toecap. like, howard selects or leo's.

that sort of shoe doesn't appeal to me, i'm sure it'd skate great, for two weeks, but i really don't think they look good, so that's why i wouldn't buy a pair.

Can anybody tell me what years the Reynolds 1,2,3 came out. Because some of you guys said you had shoes that resemble the reynolds 3 a couple years ago. I thought that the reynolds 3 just came out this past year and the reynolds 2 last year.

My first shoe was a vans. Otherwise my other two pairs of shoes have been emerica:D Heretic 2 and KSL both of which have been realllly good. KSL's are going strong, i superglue em, but the bottom is starting to **** up, probs get sum fallens next though. Try a different shoe.
