when im riding 8" boards, i like indy lows.

when im riding 8.125" boards or up, i like thunder 147 his (which are barely even mid).

so basically, indy and thunder.

I've had quite a lot of trucks, most mainstream brands apart from Indys.

I like Krux easily the most, but im gonna pick up some indys next, cause they seem to be pretty popular. Although in the UK, Krux are around £30 and Indys are £50!

I'm getting some Indy 139's for my 8.25'' board in place of Ventures because they were out of stock. Heard anything good about them?

I ride (and my faves) Indy 169s, Krux 6.0s and Grind King Jay Adams. All great trucks. Up untill about 6 months ago I've been riding Indys, since they came out in the 70s. But to be honest with you, their quality has really gone downhill as of late. The last 3 pairs I bought the baseplates were drilled crooked and the axles slip. The Krux 6.0s are the same size as 169s, turn almost exactly the same but are lighter, straighter and the axles seem more solid. Those are my favorites right now. The Jay Adams Grind Kings are sick because of the inverted kingpin and they're even lighter than the Krux. I'm diggin' the Krux though.

i've had 129s. its the same thing just the ones your getting are slightly wider. i loved them. grinded nice, turned smooth, all around nice trucks. and people say shit about the weight, i mean yes you can feel that they are heavier than a deck with ventures, but when you skate you can't notice a difference. and there is no kingpin interference with grinding :-41:. it's a shame though, i broke my deck at a park and had the trucks next to my backpack and someone stole them :-42:.

Grind King AXL II...smoother turns with the concave bushing seat, flush kingpin stays out of the way - and its lifetime guaranteed anyways. The people at Grind King are cool and will fix any problem you might have no questions asked.

have you ever actually gone through with that though? a lot of truck companies say theyre guaranteed for life, but when something actually happens, they get out of it because its a "guarantee," not a warranty. a warranty is what would get you a new set.

I broke a baseplate once and they sent me a new one within a week. I broke a kingpin and they sent me four.
