Speed washers

My wheel came off because of crappy hardware and I lost both speed washers, will this affect my bearings or can I skate without them?

not really, the differance is not really noticabe. i just use them to protect the bearing ring from scraping against the nut. since the washer spins withe the bearing, that side doesn't scrape against it. since the nut doesn't spin, it does scrape against the other side of the washer but as i said, the difference is miniscual.

i never bothered me... i didnt even know they had a name.... but i dont use em i dont have em

speed washers is advertising. Get whatever type of washer u want, it wont really make a difference.

Won't make a difference either way. I still have my washers because I haven't taken my wheels off of my trucks since I put them on. Won't hurt anything with out them though.
