Okay, something weird starting happening with my board the other day. Sometimes the back tail will slide out from behind me as I'm pushing forward, always in the same direction (to my right). I'm not talking about a slight lean to the right or anything, I mean I'll actually hit the back of it as it spins out with my back foot. It happens every once in a little while though, so I can't figure out what's causing it.

I'm pretty sure I'm not pushing off weird, though my balance might be a bit off ... that's the only thing I can think of that might be doing it. Or could it be something else, like something with my trucks needs taking care of? Just looking at it, everything seems level and even, so I dunno.

I am not quite sure I understand what you are trying to say. Sounds like your back truck just isn't aligned straight? I have no clue, could you be more clear?

What deck do you have? My friend had a mongoose board which are really cheap and suck by the way. And the holes drilled for the trucks were offset at an angle.

Sorry, that was kinda vague...

Here's basically whats happening ... when I am pushing off, sometimes the rear of my board will suddenly slide to the right and hit my back foot as I'm pushing forward.

I know its a Santa Cruz board, but not much more than that.

Where you from in Utah? I'm up in SLC.

you mught be putting weight over the front truck and it kind of pivots when you push. try to put your front foot closer to the middle of the deck.

That was definately it, thanks guys.

I still think my front truck is a bit whacked, though. Just looking at it, it seems to be leaning to one side a little.
