It happened to me. Just experiment with jumping backwords or forwards. I always landed with the board right behind my heals. So I just jumped backwords a little and I go it. I also get more control with the board if I have my foot really far up the board towards the front bolts, but then you lose some ollie height. Hope I helped!

Okay!
1. Put your front foot with your toes hanging slightly off of the heel side of the board and your back foot on the tail.
2. Pop it hard and slide your front foot up and kinda jump forward with the board. Try not to get them crooked. Here's how to avoid that. Just jump straight and DO NOT turn your shoulder and try and keep your feet straight.
3. Stick that mother ****er hard and ride away.

point ur foot away from you and roll ur foot straight off the board and bring ur foot back, then land it.

Hey. Almost forgot my famous "back" tip. Ok. If you lean forward even a few inches to far, the board will land behind you. If you lean forward, as in towards the nose of the board, it will land behind you. It's all connected somehow..and to land them, you have to find the perfect balance. When I first learned heelflips, I had a lot of trouble. I then stumbled across this trick..and I thought it worked. Since then, I've gone on vacations, came home without touching my board- and had *better* heelflips..just remembering this.
1) When you bend down to pop, don't lean forward, to see your board, or anything like that. Bend with your knees, and try to keep your back "upright". Of course you can't keep it all the way upright, but try. This doesn't work any if you don't flip it good, suck up your legs properly, etc..so make sure everything is working for you. Good luck, and practice, practice, practice.
