Fallen Ripper

Lasted: 2 weeks and counting
Grip: Holding
The Side: Only a few rips and tears
Rating: 10/10

Overall:
This shoe came to a great surprise to me. I'm not a huge fallen fan, or Circa they're usually too thick and bulky for my liking. The ripper is an exception to the usual from Fallen. The board feel is really good, it's just like most vulcanized shoes. The suede is quite strong and I have some missing but it's nothing like any of my other shoes. I usually rip shoes and have some extra toe cap showing in around 3 days, and I'm still waiting for the toe cap to rip all the way. The grip is still holding, there's a few balding spots but that comes with any shoe, you know. The flick is amazing on these shoes as well, I've learned quite a few flip tricks and whatnot in these. Overall I love this shoe, I already have another pair that I'm breaking in as I skate these the rest of the way. If anyone is interested in how they're holding up just let me know and I'll take some photos when I get home.

You could not have said it any better. I had the same experience with my white suede Fallen Rippers.

yeah, theyre sick looking. the only size we have at the shop is 11... for some reason they didnt send us the rest.

theyre a little bit puffier than what id usually get, though.

i want to try the classic black/white chiefs, though.

From what I have heard and seen the Chiefs and Rippers are fairly similar.

I got a pair of Rippers and I love them. The shape took a little adjusting to but then i found how lovely they were. The rubber flick area grip is all gone so i dont have the best flick, and I am a little worried that it will force me to buy another pair.

Mad fs flips and tre flips brahh.
Some shoes like my leather ksl1 lasted 3 weeks before I got rid of them. They ddin't have holes but the bottoms had shit the bed. Now my all synthetic MJ3s have a few holes and its only been about a week and a half. They started ripping within 4 days of skating them.

Geez. Buying new shoes every week would get expensive.

I was about to get them, but they didn't have any left and I so I got DVS Munition.

I feel stupid now, like I should of waited for the Fallens.. these DVS don't seem like to great of boardfeel, but feel like they would last forever.

Those lasted me almost a whole year. :p

But I only went through 2 decks with them, I don't get new decks often, they don't usually snap, just chip.

I skated them as long as I could and probably still can. A huge hole in the front toe and you can see my sock, but it's not ripping my feet yet, so I still skate them. And a hole on the bottom sole, hasn't ripped my socks yet. :p, I skate them as long as I possibly can. But then my Shecklers ripped on the bottom super fast.

If your shoes normally rip on the bottom faster then on the toe, the troopers will last long for you.
