okay so check this out: i'm regular footed, non-mongo...just starting getting into shortboarding. i'm a longboarder, so i'm used to putting my weight on my front (left) foot...but i tried that on my shortboard while casually cruising around, breaking in my wheels and bearings, and *WHAM* faceplant! for no apparent reason. best i can figure is my weight was directly over my front truck, so i hit a pebble or something and couldn't react in time.
so my question:
do i learn to ride goofy so i can keep my weight on my left leg...or do i just suck it up and keep riding regular, and try to get used to my weight shifted to the back?
i'm thinking just stay regular cuz that's how i've been riding forever, plus i can ollie (sorta) regular
