K I know the're lots of posts about heelflips but I cant find any help with this problem.
K, when I pop the board and start to flip it it goes smoothly but doesnt roatate all the way and always lands on the griptape side, i dunno how to get it all the way round. any help?

I find that if less of youre back foot is on the board it flips easier. And maybe you could try kicking youre foot out more and rolling it harder

I don't know if I'd agree with "kick harder", because I can just say "ok, here's a high, slow rotating heelflip", or "here, a low fast rotating heelflip", and anything in between, but my opinion is: you're stomping it down when it's upside down. If you're getting a lot of air, that's likely. If you're getting a medium amount of air, that's also likely. If you're not getting much, you might just not be used to it, then yeah, practice would help. My quick tips are:
1) When you kick it, try to kick it forward, like you're karate kicking a guy in his nuts.
2) Keep telling yourself "suck my legs up!" when you're in the air, that's important.
3) When you bend down to pop, bend with your knees, and try to keep your back straight. This will keep from the board landing all weird, behind you- for example.
It'd be so much easier to show you, but that's a bit hard..so that's all I can suggest. Good luck, and don't give up.

heres my position, front foot: i put the ball of my foot (where the toe and foot meets) on the edge of the board at a small angle. maybe about 1 1/2 inches from bolts. back foot: like an ollie but slightly closer to the tip of tail.
Tip 1) For me, I dont kick my heelflips, I flick my foot in a rolling motion with my ankle with my foot going out as I'm flicking. Not really a kick but close.
Tip 2) Try inverting ure foot position until you find a suitable position
Tip 3) Remember to jump and bring legs up.
Tip 4) Practice
