it really come down to personal preference. i will however give you a little advice because i have ridden both types of decks.

with baker you are going to get a mellow concave strong wood and a medium nose and tail.

with the habitat you are going to have a deeper concave and steeper nose and tail.

habitat decks seem to be more geared toward the technical style of street skating.

while baker is a more balanced deck.

hope that helped.

Baker has a sicker team outta the two. Possibly out of the whole skate scene.
But if your going for a lasting longer deck with more durability and such I'd go with Habitat.

and habitat DOESNT have a sick team? have you SEEN their videos?

stefan janoski? kerry getz? tim oconnor?

habitats have much better shapes and concaves, and they skate way better too. blitz wood is definitely not as good. its not as bad as dwindle, but still.

ive had both, bakers are strong with good pop, but the pop is gone after about a solid week of skating. im still on my habitat, its been two months and the pop is still there, just like the first day i had it. the concave is just perfect for me. habitat for sure man.

habitat > baker :-41:

Habitat > Baker for sure.. I used to think baker was pretty good but it really isn't. The concave is OKAY but the pop is gone from your deck after two (somewhat heavy duty) seshes. Habitat's pop never fades even with razortail. I'm just not a fan of the shape ! But they're great decks no doubt!

there both good decks so you cant go wrong with either but if you get a habitat, make sure its a Hemp ply
