I am thinking of buying these:
Deck: Size 7.75 Alien Workshop or Habitat (which one should i get)?
Trucks: Krux downlows or Indy downlows (which one should i get)?
Wheels: Im not sure what size and hardness to get, can any1 help me out here? And what wheels are good that doesn't give flatspots?
Bearings: Bones Red
Hardware: any, does brand really matter here?
Also, should i get any risers? Or do i not need them?
So how is my setup looking so far? And how much do u guys think it will cost for me to buy all these parts? Thanks

Thats a great setup whatever you get outta the choices!
I'd get the habitat (even though they're made from the same distributers).
A lot of people would tell you to get Indy's, but i've never had them, but love Krux so i'd get them.
Everything else looks fine!

I think you should get a blank for your first board, it'll do just fine for learning. But out of those two, Habitat is better.

If you're planning to do grinds or you want pretty trucks, get the Krux. The Indys are just plain good trucks.

97a-100a hardness. Softer wheels go slower but help absorb more shock, harder wheels go faster on smooth surfaces. 50mm-54mm, smaller wheels accelerate faster but don't maintain speed as well. Larger wheels accelerate slower but keep their speed better.

Not really, Shorty's has a lifetime warranty though.

Don't need them.

Usually it'll cost $100-$120.

I'd get Alien Work shop just because I like their graphic just a bit more than Habitat, but it doesn't really matter which one cause they're pretty much the same company alomst.
For trucks, I'd get Krux.
For wheels, I'd get 53mm 99a blank wheels.
For hardware, any kind will do, so just get what ever you think looks cool or works for you eg. indicator bolts, coloured bolts ect.
You don't really need risers but you can if you want.
Reds are great bearings to start off with.

Deck: i'd say go for the habitat. (didnt have a good experience with AWS)
Trucks: lol indy downlows (no such thing. they are just lows not downlows) get either.
Wheels: just get some that match your deck and trucks.
Bearings: cool
Hardware: doesnt really matter what brand some break but its never happened to me.
Risers: i dont think that they are worth the money or hassle of putting them on. they are mostly for big drops for cushioning (sp?)
It looks like a good setup to me. dont forget griptape. depending on what site or what store you are getting the stuff from the price will probably be 100-160 dollars. usually shops cost a bit more (in my experiences. it might not be that way for other people.)

habitat, indys, i'd go spitfire wheels (but my wheel experience is not big by any means), reds are awesome, get like .75" hardware (1" if you get riser pads)
check around, a lot of websites have complete builders that knock like 15% off the retail price if you buy as a package

id personally switch the reds for HKD 5s or 7s.. its worth it. 7s are probably 5$ more.
and out of the two trucks you listed, id go with indy lows. theyre the sickest trucks ive ever ridden.
