why do you care about weight? its not really going to effect your skating. and you cant generalize stuff like that. not all girl decks weigh the same and now all habitats weigh the same. some girl decks might be lighter than some habitats and some habitats might be lighter than some girl decks. but either way its not going to be a difference that should be noticable.

lolololol.
I have a heavy board, large 8.2 deck with 8'' trucks and 55mm wheels. I can ollie 5 decks, possibly 6 on flat. If weight really would make a difference, on a small tiny board with small tiny everything, I could ollie 8 decks. Really makes no difference at all. Weight would only affect you if your trucks and wheels are lead, and your deck is 3'' steel.

Light=Flimsy, deck doesnt stay with you, breaks easier
Heavy=Better, stronger, the board stays with you, you ollie higher with a heavier board.

But get a Girl

Mostly shallow concaves. I like them both, but habitat just lasts longer for me. My last girl lasted two weeks while my habitat lasted me three weeks before I gave it away, lasted another 2 for that kid then another 2 or 3 for a kid he gave it to. Eventually the last kid stomped it because it was a old whore of a deck!

I know. I'm about 150 lbs and the two other kids were 180+ lbs.
I'm surpized how well it lasted. Only problem with it was the tail and nose were shaped odd, so I skated the nose. Was really good though.
