Hey guys, i'm new here to RR, and i'm having trouble with frontside noseslides. i can get on the ledge pretty well, but the nose won't slide. Like once i get on, i don't move. i hope i made my prob clear enough, and any help is appreciated.

ok well its practically impossible to grind on curbs, your better off to try it at a skate park. also you could get some wax and wax your trucks and or, the box. well goodluck i hope you get it!

It helps if your board is concaved for any slide or grind where the board is making contact on the object.
Noseslides can be pretty hard depending on how comfortable you are with them. If you can get your nose onto it square, then just lean and kind of bend your knees and visualize yourself going with the board.
Yeah, curbs even when they are really waxed well aren't very good for noseslides. I would reccomend a box with 90 degree metal edging. Concrete boxes like ones you'd find at skateparks are more sturdy and wont move. So my best advice would be to try it on those.

and if you come at it at the wrong angle, you'll turn it into a nose-stall instead.. gotta spin fast into them. Just like back noseslides.

Yeah It's easier to wax it but it doesn't usualy help. But If It's those rails at the skatepark that go downwords It is easier to do it.

also you dont need to use too much wax otherwise your board will just fly out from under you
