whats the normal size for a deck?

i think it is 7.5x31 but im not sure .. anyone know?

it all varies on personal preference and most times shoe size i skate 7.75 and up to 8 like i said its all personal prefence

I would say shoe size and weight are factors in what your deck size should be. When you step on a skateboard, that is your new foundation. If youre 6'6'' 220lbs, with a size 15 shoe, a 7.5 deck probably would feel crappy. I skate an 8.25.

its personal preference. ive got a few friends who are over 6 feet tall with over size 12 shoes, and they skate 7.5s

and ive got friends who are under 5'8" with smaller feet who ride 8+ boards

its ALL preference, period. it has nothing do with shoe size or weight or anything. you can ride whatever you want, end of story.


normal shaped boards range from 7.5 to 8.5. below 7.5 is mini, and above 8.5 you just dont find regular shaped boards, they become kinda oldschool/pool boards.

i ride 8-8.25... ive been skating 8s lately.

i'd say just go to your shop, grab a deck of each size, stand on it. then see which one feels the best.

if the shop owner wont let you. then idk what to tell you :-16:
