There isn't because not everyone is like you sadly and still think reading is for nerds and everytime we make a topic about it some immature little kids ruin it.

a topic on books in the general section should be enough. ive actuallly just really gotten into reading, which i thought would never happen... oh well. so if you want to start it, ill contribute to it

I'd support it; reading is something that most young people should get into.

i'd definatly support it too. too many kids are just wasting time on myspace and sending text messages with absolutly no grammar used these days. i'm always in the process of reading some book, i usually get through two a month in my spare time.

Lol.. Sheer Irony.

Anywhom, I'm all for it. I LOVE to read, in fact, if one does arise, I'd love to recommend a couple of books I think others should read.

books are good. but this is a skateboard forum. if you want to talk about books, just put it in the general section. its for stuff thats not related to skateboarding. right?

Agreed, I'd like to talk about books. I like reading good books, despite me being a teenager, I will still read a great book every now and then. Why not start a thread were we can suggest, share opinions or help decipher a book.

there are alot of movies like hatchet, im sure it had some influence. the cool thing about him is most of his story;s are influenced by personal accounts; ex: he was a rebel farm boy who ran away frequently to the forests.
