I'm debating which one to get. I already have a Vanguard, but I'm also inerested in the pintail. Your opinion is appreciated!

well loaded boards are loved by pretty much everyone that rides one. lush would be kinda hard to get ahold of, as they're a UK based company. flexdex are supposed to be awesome too, but hella expensive and heavy. what kind of riding are you gonna be doing?

Just cruising. And Loaded's cost around the same as Flexdex's, around 300. I'm going to be cruising and doing downhill sessions at Stanford with Black Diamond Sports...

Oh, also, I'm considering getting a Rayne.

I'm thinking the Pug or Hellcat.
I can afford it if I sell my Loaded for 200 and sell somma my video games.

I was thinking of getting the performace setup with the hellcat.

i personally don't own one at all :-(
but i do know a few people that do, and they absolutely rave aobut it. it IS a dropthru speedboard, but with those trucks and the right bushings, that can be turned into a carving machine. in fact, my speedboard can carve circles around my other setups and i've taken it upwards of 35 mph. and yes, keep in mind that loose trucks save lives, cuz you don't wanna sacrafice maneuverability. just gotta get used to not getting speed wobbs, and when you do, learn to not panic

edit:
click the link in my sig, there's TONS of useful info there.

also i'm gonna make a few recommendations:

I just found out that they only sell Landyachtz there. Are they only good for Downhill?

for downhill and carving, you're gonna want a landy top speed (http://www.landyachtz.com/D25.cfm?PID=253&place=1)

I'm buying from Vendors at the skate sessions at the Stanford Downhills, but I think the vendors are employees that bring supplies from the shops.

yeah dude go with the top speed then.

or if you wanna be a little more DH oriented, get the drop speed...just like the topspeed only dropped through.

Yeah. They're real nice boards too. Will they be ok for cruising on the flats, or are they too heavy?

they'll be fine for cruising flats. the only thing it might be uncomfortably heavy for is carrying for long distances. but i mean, you're not gonna just CARRY the board are ya? i hope like hell you ride the living piss out of it

Why would I ever carry it if I don't have to? The only time I do is when theres a really big hill, like today in Sharon Heights.

idk where sharon heights is...

but yeah, don't be afraid to carry your board up big hills...and maybe down...i know big hills can be intimidating. just excercise caution and know your limits
