i need help with nose slides/ my problem is that when i ollie and try to slap the nose on the ledge my front wheels land on it and i go rolling up the edge of the ledge. then i fall and i am getting sick of falling.:confused:

i either do that, or get the nose on and can't get the tail in the air right. or, i do it right and overbalance, lol.

evertime i try them my wheels get stuck on the ledge and i dont go anywhere. i hate it.

Try moving away from the curb just a little bit :D. If not practice getting your nose on the curb. Also ride on noseslides are kife so if you cant do noseslides with a ollie dont fall back onto riding into the noseslide just practice ollieing into it. Looks way better.

when i do nose slides i have to be very far from the ledge because i jump in way too far. does anybody know how i can fix this?

i can get into it, but my tail isnt level with my nose.

guys just aim lower then you think you should, then your wheels wont land on top of the object. also, if you arent sliding good, lean over your front foot more, almost all your weight should be on the nose. thrasher, your probably guiding the board around the 90 with just your front foot. try to push the board around with your back foot then stomp it down with your front foot.

i dunno if this would help, but you could try nosestalling on it first, then try to slide, it's kinda the same thing...

not trying to point you out but your post explains the situation well...make sure the top and the front of the ledge are waxed, that seems to help my nose/tailslides from my wheels stopping me
