right so tody i was doin pretty good found a new gap, 180'd a slanty thing and did my first powerslide! but i did a little manual and all of a sudden my calf started cramping really bad so i bailed, now like 6 hours later it still hurts do you think i pulled the muscle

Oh yep that happened to me. It hurt for about 1 week and a half.

same shit happened to me dude, hurt for a little while, make sure you take showers often, and stretch well before you skate.

i ****ing hate that. it doesn't happen often to me, but when it does, it's usually in the middle of the night. all it is is horrible pain in my calf that wakes me up in the middle of the night and i'm half asleep so like i don't know how to make it better and i like keep trying to like position my leg until it stops. but you can still feel the pain for a while. it should be good by tomorrow.

Eat bananas, and stretch before you skate, it happens to me alot, you need potassium.

yess,...funny story,..was skating at the school other day, got cramp, ran into pole,...I have a massive bruise on my foot and a welt the size of a squashed strawberry on my shin...

use bruise cream and just strech it but rest it,...

yea thanks guys and dookie sleeping thats happened to me before! sux doesn't it? well im gonna get some bannanas and gatorade and rest it up so i can skate the weekend (i hope)

I think you speak of a charlie horse. Usually caused by having your muscles in awkward positions when its chilly in your room.

It's a muscle spasm, it's because there isn't enough oxygen in the muscles.

That Stuff Used To Happen To Me All The Time When I Played Basketball. Of Course I Balled For Like 8 Hrs A Day Tho. And It Sucks Wakin Up With Your Calf Feelin Like Its Gonna Rip The Hell Out Of Your Skin

Skating The Only Thing That Is Sore Is My Hamstrings And Thats Cuz I Just Started. First Morning After I Had Skated The Previous Night. I Didnt Even Wanna Walk, Get Outta Bed, Etc

dude u got a Charlie horse rofl they suck so much i get them @ judo every now and then.. i stopped getting them once i took some vitamins just research it

Bananas are good and moist heat will help. Wet a towel with warm to hot water, put it on the area where the muscle is tightest and leave it there for about 20 minutes... then work the muscle lightly for a short time and leave it be...
