I'm just a natural pussy. It took me like 1 month after getting comfortable cruising, to get rid of fear with curbs. After that, I was just fine until I started doing stairs.
I went to that 3 set 3 times without so much as popping off of it. Then I got the hang of it.
Basically, now I've pretty much tried every type of skating out there. Ledges, Manny pads, and such, so I don't have to much fear anymore. But everytime I learned something new, it was pussyfoot time, lol.
Ahh that just reminded me, yesterday was the first official day where I was ollieing up and off sidewalk curbs without mentally psyching myself out :)
How are your bowl skills Slyde?

Not very good. I can ride the bowl pretty fast, and 50-50 it at times, other than that, not much.
Better at street type of stuff, why do you ask?
Just wondering, because it seems like your learning curve is not steep at all. Seems like you get new tricks down fairly fast.

I jumped from a 4 set to an 8 set in one day.
Was great, I tell ye.
But I've always been scared like.

I've always been scared. Never wont be scared. The way I see it is, you may feel like your going to throw up while your in the air, but it all only lasts a couple of seconds. And if you eat some pavement, then oh well. Suck it up.

After the first pop I'm usually pretty fine. Actually I've kind of mellowed down from doing big stuff for a while now, its not that I suck at them or anything I've just pretty much been just skating the ledges at the park all the time.
