Sort of shift your weight on your back foot, so your tail makes contact with the curb, and keep your weight there to slide.

yeah, its pretty much just practice and confidence. you just have to push it to the ledge/rail just like a nose slide.

The way I learnt it was Ollie to tail stall straight on, like, ride straight at it (not alongside it) then Ollie 180 into tailstall, then gradually come at an angle.. takes about a day to learn, then you can get em. I still come at a bit of an angle. I used to fall alot too, just land on your hands, or try to land on the Ledge no matter what.

Exactly how i learnt them. Just start decreasing the angle that you go at it until your basically parallel with it. When you connect you wanna be leaning slightly back and with all your weight on your foot on the ledge/curb.

it depends if you want to land in reg or fakie. and it depends how good im doing. if im doing good, i will pop off. and if im sucking, i will just slide off.

Okay, I can 180 Tail stall. I'm actually pretty good at these too, so what you are saying is ride up to it, so that instead of a complete 180, I do a, lets say 150?

Okay, I think I got it, I'll give it a shot.

surely back tails are harder than front tails? Back tails do look steezy though.

Front tails seem harder to get onto but easier to slide, I haven't really tried nose or tailslides though.

Just takes practice, a lot of it. Back tails scare the shit out of me.
