do any of you guys actually work out or anything? no offense to anyone, but It seems weird to me that most skaters are skinny toothpick-like guys. Does it help to be skinny or something?
It's cause we're some of the realest, most down to earth mofos you ever gonna meet.

Yeah, I dont need to weigh a ton and be buff to Skate good. And I dont need to dress up in big muscles. Plus slim is sexxxy. Power's more important than strength. If I need to punch on, I'd do karate. and I got less chance of snapping Decks.. but my body's kinda toned, and thats more important than muscle bulk.
And the heart is the most important muscle, so cardio is the best thing you can possible do for yourself. Except Skate, of course.

Most skaters I know have really thick muscular legs, but I suppose some do have skinny arms... I do workout outside of skateboarding.

I run, used to more than now though... I started because of drug tests, every couple months when I knew a drug test was coming up I'd start running everyday, and I ultimately realized that the days after I ran I felt better all around so I started to do it almost everyday. Makes you feel pretty good and it's quick : ). It also works different muscles in your legs than skating... but I'd take skating over running any ****in' day, don't get me wrong.
