Vice City gone???

is it true they are going to take it off the shelves cause its too "violent"? a friend told me they were going to, has anyone else heard anything about it?

I haven't played it but a lot of other stuff is really violent so i don't think they should take it "off the selves"

never believe when you hear that a game is "going to be taken off the shelves", its almost a gaurantee that any rumor like that is just that, a rumor, and nothing more.

Actually they never thought about putting it ouit of the shelves, but they wanted to stop selling it at places like wallmart, kmart and other REALLY public places like that sell things without asking. That's because they did MAJOR tests with 10 and 14 yrs old kids...They asked them to go inside buy violent videogames rated "M", and no1 asked them their age, so they decided they'd only sell it at places where they check your age.

I dont think they will take it off the shelves because so much hard work has gone into making it.

hm.. actually they proably will. thats what they did with gta3 after 9/11 because in the last mission you fly a plain into a building, so they took it off the shelves and relaced it with an edited version of it. without that mission. BUT most people never got that far in the game, they didnt notice it. when they recalled it they changed the box art, so you can tell whats the edited version and whats the original. i doubt any originals are left in stores. the edite version has a car going through flames on two of the block things instead of one on the original. Back to vice city. this game is MUCH more violent than 3, but thats what makes it great!!! and its much more explicit and has many more sexual innuendos in it. two of the places you an buy are a strip club and an icecream company called "cherry poppers"...i'll leave you with that.

its a good game in my opinion.im not saying good ethics but good action game to play on a rainy day with friends

my cousin has both 3 and vice but i dont have either cause of no ps2 so.......


i hope it doesnt get taken of the shelves cause its really fun!

but i can understand about the last mission of gta3 and all but still………
