[Skating Indy]

Well, for skating, I see many people wearing jeans either tight or baggy. I'm not one of those jean people. I usually like to wear something light like shorts. Is there anything wrong with that? Just wandering cuz i'm thinking about going to a skatepark with some friends sunday.

One other question, I was down in Louisville Skatepark and met a guy that that asked me why I skate something like nose or why don't you skate nose. Just curious but would there be a reason why he would ask me or what not?

Clothes don't matter, be what you want to be, you don't need to follow anyone's style. I'd recommend pants that you have full flexibility in because skating in shorts when you fall it's alot worse or if your board racks your shins. I use to skate in shorts, but it feels alot better in pants and my shins aren't bleeding anymore, but that's me.

Yeah, that's been happening to me lately but alright. Idk, I got a Darkstar. Don't hate cause I pretty much just started but, my nose is the longer part with more concave right? Idk, cuz sometimes I ride tail so my nose doesn't get all worn up from the trucks and everything else like that.

Your nose/tail is fine. It's all about preference. I skate my nose as my tail, but I don't seem a difference. Only reason my nose is my tail is because my trucks turn on the other side and I'm too lazy to switch them around. I don't see a difference at all.

[j/k]but if you really want to be awesome at skateboarding you ware comfortable jean with a shoe lase to keep them on tight, skate shoes for awesome grip(should not have to tie to put on and take off) grow your hair out for ultimate awesomeness, and a trucker hat to keep it all under control!!! why because all the good skaters do it!!![j/k]

Pants don't really matter. My buddy skates in nothing but B-ball shorts because they don't catch your knees and are light. He's 10x better than me though, but his shins are always bleeding.

Personally, you will NEVER catch me in shorts. Even when I got baptized I was wearing jeans, lol. It's just personal preference.

About the Nose/Tail thing, back when I had all me previous boards, I had a line that determined my tail from the nose. It would give me an OCD type of thing to HAVE to ride on the tail because of the line.

So when I got my Foundation I just asked the chick not to put a line on the grip, now I feel much better about it. So no, I don't suppose it makes that big of a difference.

i used to wear andrew reynolds krew pants, but i bought big slim fit random brand jeans and liked them better. but i did like the stretch from the krew pants. but i see that ccs makes slim fit jeans with stretch? i'll have to take a look at those.

personally i don't care about jeans that much, especially what other people are wearing, but super slim for me is just too tight. other people may love it, and i respect them for that, but for me, i don't like them. unless they are a size big, then i'll see.

i used to skate in shorts but now i cant stand skating shorts that go below my knees (unless its those light basketball pants) i only where jeans that are straight fit when i skate cause i feel less vulnerable if my board hits my shins that shit hurts like a bitch
