Ok, I went to the skatepark for 2 out of 3 days for only about 3 hours each for practice. The second day I was leaving and it was all fine and good until some kid ran into me and I had to bail. I couldn't tell but it looked like his board went under mine and then said sorry and all.

As I left I was riding it and my board seemed to be going MUCH slower. Is there anything I can do for my wheels to get back on track. My bearings and wheels have been cleaned, trucks loosened and then tightened. Right now I don't know what to do. Help?!?!

if you've tried everything then take it to the skate shop and see if they know whats up.....if they are broken then buy some new wheels

Unless your wheels have some major defect, it's probably you're bearing's problems. Some of your bearings may have broke; so even if you have cleaned them, a broken bearing still will dramatically decrease your speed regardless if they're cleaned or not.

What things would you try to do though?

Yeah, but it's all four of my wheels. That's what I don't get.

If you have a extra pair of wheels, try using you current bearings in the old wheels, see if it makes any difference. If it does, then it's your bearings fault.

A washer? Where? On your trucks? Actually it doesn't matter if you don't have washers, anywhere it won't affect your speed.

Yes they do, they make sure your wheels spin more freely.

It's probably your bearings. When you cleaned your bearings, did you see anything wrong with them? I'm assuming you took off the shields for you bearings when you cleaned them (which you should've), and properly cleaned them with a solvent. Did you see anything wrong witht the bearing balls? Were they rusted? Did they have black spots on them? You most likely need new bearings, the impact could've messed up your bearings.

are they spitfire wheels? I had a problem with them.. the bearings slid outta their place in the wheel and touched the axle nut, so =I had to bang them back into place. So I recon try taking the bearings out, then puttin them back in again.

I have never ever noticed a difference between using a washer and not on my axle.

me neither.

for whoever is having the problem, first off chill out, and second, just take out your bearings and make sure they spin fine. if not, then get new ones. if they do, put it back together and try again and if they still dont work like you want them to, your bearings just dont like you.

Well I notice it, mostly with bearings with permanent metal shields, it rubs and it slows me down a lot.
