Ive been working on heelflips, and kickflips for a while and i can land them with my back foot on majority of the time, the problem is my front foot lands 5 inches away from the board. My friends tell me I need to jump, but i have had a hard time jumping. When ever i jump high the spin gets weird. Is there any way i can practise jumping. Or any other ideas on how I can land either or. Thanx Alot.

From the way you described it, I can't really help you much. All I can really tell you is to concentrate on the flip and then bring your foot back. Don't try too hard either.

Just have fun with it. Go out and skate. Don't be so worried about landing something. Just kind of work with them a lot if you want to learn them good. After a while it'll just come to you.

You just need to practice.

Man you dont need to learn how to jump, when you jump....jump forward. Just flick off ya nose and lean forward.

guys you just have to flip it right. keep practicing until your feet get used to the motion you need, theres nothing we can say that will help you, just practice.

dude...after you flick just bring BOTH yur feet up at the same time. Its got nothing to do with how high you jump. The higher you jump the higher the board will come disabling you to catch it.After you flick (and after you jump) just pull both your feet straight up and over the board then smack it down when it finishes flipping.
