My 360 Flip

Okay so I landed my first ever 3 flip today. but I didnt roll away, I had to pump, What made me not roll away?

If you don't get the whole rotation you can't keep rolling, Or you'll roll a different direction.
Lets say you are rolling fast on your skateboard, and you decide to do a 180, you try to do the 180, but you only rotate about 90 degrees. You can't keep rolling if you land at that angle.
Same thing with the 3 flip. You have to get the whole rotation.
But if you do a 3 flip off a ledge that's about 5 feet high, you will catch the board with your feet in midair. And that will give you more time to straiten out.
But if your board lands first, you might fall or lose balance. Make sense?

Okay well I thought I got the whole 360 in but my friend said I didnt, He said I got about a 270, maybe a 300 in, so I guess that is why, Thansk all though :)

Thats what i mean. If you land sideways, you CAN'T roll away.

It means you were probably not commited enough, so you didn't land on it with your balance centered and comfortable.
If your shoulders are parallel to the board then you will roll away better and possibly cleaner.
