I get made fun of more often around my school for being Canadian than I do for being a skateboarder. There's tones of people who skate in my school and no one really gives it a bad rep. On the other hand.... there are people who give the Canadian a bad rep in my school.

I get along with most people but in most schools almost everybody gets teased about something whether it would be the kind of shoes you wear or if you wear tall socks. Except for the people who think they are better than others.

Nope - nobody cares down here if someone skates or not...and honestly, no-one at school, at least in my year, gets teased, unless it's in a joking way. Which is very cool. It's kind of pathetic if you're 14+yrs old and kids are still making fun of one another. Don't they have lives of their own by that age that they shouldn't have to worry about others?

Everyong in my school plays basketball except for me and they all have these gay shiny Nikes. Then they come along and make fun of me because my shoes are all ****ed up from skating. It pisses me off. And then when I skating there is this one guy who thinks he's all bigger and tougher than me and he's always telling me he's gonna call the cops if he sees me skating there again. The dude gets UP IN MY FACE (and he's like 35) and he's threatening me and all this gay shit. I wanted to punch him so bad but I coudn't.

I am pretty bad for saying "ditch pig" when a fugly bitch walks by. Or say if a kids like 4 foot nothin ill say somethin like "whats up slugger". It's all good. I also get made fun of but it's in a joking way. Some people were just put on the earth to be made fun of. That's just my opinion. Now on the otherhand for people making fun of me skating, well that has never happened to me only by cops.

i get made fun of, every day. i dispise my schoool to an extreme length. the past two days i wore a red bandana (like tupac used to) for a total of 10 minutes (leaving school and walking out of art to get a drink). i got weird looks and nasty comments. because my town cant accept a person with blue hair, wearing a woolen scarf and a krux sweatshirt, that wears a bandana!!!!!! i dispise it. and i know people already make fun of me because of my blue hair. i dispise it. it's freeking HIGH SCHOOL they need to friggen grow up. and it's ever when they'r by themselves. always when with other people....i mean me and my friends make fun of each other, but its all joking, and its all good. but when people you dont associate with you, mock you everyday because of your clothing... i makes one want to turn into JTHM(johnny the homocidal maniac). it's sickening. poeple need to grow up.

Yup. The Bloods and Cryps hate each other really, depending on how into the gang they are. Some can be friends, some can't. If your wearing red around some Cryps, you'll get nasty looks and comments, and vise versa.

yeah true sometimes people say "you act weird" or "you're weird" and I say thank you cause being anormal would suck

when i first moved here i was getting made fun of all the time. then as i got to know everyone its all good. i am not sure when the last person made fun of me. i am the only skater here and the only one with skate shoes everyone else wears basketball shoes like nike & and 1. and i make fun of them by saying go play fagsketball and call there shoes niks & and 2s, or mathmatical shoes. i am a big guy i keep my hair cut with almost bald and wear white shirts and khakis looking like a big gangly mexican and not too many people mess with me. people are always saying that i walk around looking like i am going to beat the hell out of someone so i dont think i have much to worry about. also i always have some type of snappy comeback to all these mediocre comments made by people. it pays off to pay attention in english!

well i know, and everyone else at my school knows that i do not look 15. i mean i have to shave every day. mabey ill show you a pic of me so you can see what i mean. i look so old that everytime i have a sub in my class ill be like "this is my third year in here i already know how to do this" even though i am a sophomore and need to be in that class. and one time i was late for class and walked in when there was a sub and was like hey i am aaron's dad and im here to pick up my son and the sub was like "alrite aaron see you later" then the whole class started laughing. good stuff....

at school i get along with just about everyone, i don't take crap and people tend to not try anything on me. it's not like i say 'i'm gonna beat the crap outta you if you do!' it's just, idk i'm not the kinda person that people see as a target, i guess i'm more the type that you could talk to no matter what everyone else thinks of you cause like i said i get along with just about everyone and no one cares. plus the fact that i usually talk to everyone at once in my class so no one takes notice when i say a something to just one person that maybe they don't like.
the only time i remember someone saying something about me this year was where we were all joking around (me, a kid named mike, elliot and tommy) and mike made a sarcastic comment about me. everything kind of got quiet and everyone in taht class kinda looked around like 'wha?' and then mike was like 'ohh.. well i'm just kidding your nothing like that' and things just went on. idk why it's like that it just is.
maybe if you knew me you would understand. to those of you who do know me and don't understand. you probably don't spend much time with me.

when people find out a skateboard they look at me like 'hah your joki-- oh, i guess your not.. that's cool, hey maybe it's not that bad, if ashley can do that with all the grace she's got (none), maybe i can!'' kinda look..

the only crap i get about boarding is from other skaters. on ramprage. beleive it or not.

People do that every single day down here when we're skating. I only live like 10 minutes away from Solstice Skate shop, and almost everyone skates down here. Whether they're *****s or true skaters, they skate.

yeh people talk about me behind my back but never really to my face so i dont care. its people that i hate anyway, so it doesnt bother me that there makin fun of me because i know that there just doin it to make themselves look better. thats the way it is around here, everyones so insecure that they have to make other people look bad so that they look good in comparison. its pretty sad. everyone following the crowd, the whole prep abercrombie goody-goody thing. there are a couple cool kids tho, mainly the skaters, hippy kids, some of the potheads, and the surfers. the goths here are all wannabes, you can tell that they arent true goths.

no one really makes fun of me at school except one kid. this kid who also is a "skater" says that im a ***** because im not as good as everyone else. he acts like he is the greatest skater and he lies about girlfriends too he had like 4 of them in the begining of the year but now he has only had like 1 or 2. when i ask him what tricks he can do, they r always different, except for these: nollie, ollie, fakie ollie, switch ollie (i bet he cant even do those). he said he could do a kickflip in the beginning of the year now he says he never learned how to kickflip. i put him in his place though cuz he is like 5' 3" and im like 5' 11" so now he aint got any balls to call me names.

i get called ***** when i cant land somthing. (im more into old school so its not cuz i suck) i was trying this kickflip off this curb and i just get called a ***** cuz i couldnt. i then go and do like boneless and stuff and the same people think im awesome

people used to make fun of me all the time cuz i'm an intelligent guy and they mocked me for that. but then i started skating and then moved to a different school and and since they didn't know me, they thought i was pretty normal... but that's what they think!

i just keep to myself most of the time and nobody bothers me, mostly cuz i'm a big guy (6', 165 lbs. you may think i'm heavy, but it's because i lifted weights before i started skating and i still have some of the muscle) with enough facial hair for some people think i'm 23.

i just remember the days when people ridiculed me for who i was and remember that when i see someone being picked on...

i find that, if people take the piss, its cos they are jealous, cos they can't do wot we can, just pull some gud tricks (trying not to stack) and they shud leav u alone. also if they dont, ask them to try and they soon piss off! and if u get a crowd, its because your good, not because your an "outsider".

i usually dont get made fun of when i skate. once though, my friend and i were skating, and my friend is african american. these guys pull up in an SUV and roll down their windows, and then they yell "n*ggers dont skate!" right at my friend. that sucked. ive gotten the occasional "verbal beatdown" from passing motorists, but nothin like that.

around here it seems that if your hair is more than 1 inch long people say things like "get a haircut you scuz" and that pisses me off. Another thing that bothers me is when you're skating somewere and some kids come along and say "do a kickflip" or some shit like that. When people walk by a baseball field they don't say "lets see that curveball"
