Mainstream?

well in my opion mainstream sucks. all my friends are in the mainstream stuff like they know almost evry pro every am \. i am like the only one i know who doesnt know all the pros and ams i only like the under ams like the ones noone hears of like nick tedder hes awsome hes good am he skates for hectic its amazing having him skate at the local park well i hate god dang mainstream o well

eh the only thing that annoys me is when a band i like starts getting all the preppy pop people listening to it. then i have to stop listening to them so i dont have to deal with all these random people being like "ohh you like them? the lead singer is hot!" but uh, mainstream as far as skateboarding doesnt bother me. i like watching good skaters.

Same here, I don't listen to many well known bands. Alot of people have never heard of Modest Mouse, they're one of my favorite bands.

i hate mainstream music but all the preps down here are like 'bus driver.....Z96' which is a pop channel and im like today 'who actully likes this crap?' and i put my
CKY cd in my cd player:)

i listen to alot of underground myself but some of its becoming more popular

Most people don't listen to them, which is a good thing. I only know a handful of people that do.

I know not a lot, but a enough people to know the mainstream guys, but I also know a lot of the under dogs and up & commers. It doesn't bother me that much unless someone says something like..."Man, I bet (insert name here) could beat Nick Turner in a game of SKATE anyday." Yet, they don't even know who he, or whoever they mentioned, is. I only know one other person on these forums who knows the Ruin crew, and thats Jay.

Ruin has a great team! I seriously need to skate with em again! They got me so hyped and nuts i tried everything! I Friggin busted my ass trying to hardflip stairs just trying to impress them...

We're trying to put Zac on the Ruin team. Zac Garrett, the best skater I've seen... who executed the most perfect 14 set switch kickflip. a bit off subject but yeh..
